Openable windows in UV protected polycarbonate to ventilate buildings

The arcoPlus® Opening Systems have been developed with the aim to insert openable windows into the vertical translucent wall-cladding or in shed-roofing, using both manual control and electric motors, in order to greatly facilitate the building’s natural ventilation. These opening windows are made with aluminum frames, dimensioned according to the application requirements, which are placed into the same base-profile used for the cladding’s fixed frame; whereas the translucent surface is realized using the same type of arcoPlus® polycarbonate interlocking panels already installed in the cladding.

All the aluminum profiles have been developed with different thicknesses specifically to offer several solutions depending on the type of application, which requires different characteristics in terms of insulation, brightness, load resistance, etc .. Moreover you can customize the windows thanks to a list of components that enhance the performances, such as the choice of the draining base- profile, the use of drainage caps, the installation of electric double push motors… without forgetting the great advantages coming from the thermal-breaking profiles regarding thermal insulation benefits and the improvement of aero-illuminating balance. The windows are accompanied by sealing gaskets and, for guaranteeing a correct installation, it’s advisable to close the air-channels of the PC panels with the appropriate aluminum micro-perforated tape that allows for ventilation and avoids dirt deposit inside the panels. The windows-frames with th.20mm are supplied with compass hinges to support up to a 4 panels width, but for greater widths external hinges are provided instead. Also the windows-frames with th.40mm are equipped with the external ones.
